It might not be that you have bad credit, just that you don't have enough. Sounds weird i know but some places like people to have taken out loans and have credit cards because it leaves a trail and they can find out how good you are paying major bills. Sometimes having no credit history is worse then having a bad one. The security deposit does sound really steep, so i'd still give them a ring and make sure its not a scam mail.

This call is usually brief and is just to ensure you were the one that completed the course. They need to make sure someone else did not complete this for you.
They may pick a couple of the questions that were asked during the online session and confirm the answers with you. As long as you were the one who did it, you should be able to easily answer the questions they ask.
After the call, they will issue the certificate which needs to be filed with the bankruptcy court when you file your bankruptcy.

I am sure Credit Suisse would be able to broker a physical delivery of precious metals. If not, any other large financial institution should be able to help. You say you want bars? Unless you have money in the tens of thousands, silver would be all you could afford. I would ask the question about why you want to take physical delivery. You pay shipping, tax, and have to store the metal securely. The risk of theft increases dramatically if we are talking about bars. My friends use California Numismatic Investments and they are very reliable and a good source of true information.
