How does a credit limit increase effect my credit score?
The limit on my department store credit card of almost 3 years has increased from $250 to $400. I'm young and have "limited" credit. Last summer my score was 637. Since then I have paid all my Credit cards off. Does the department store credit increase reflect that my credit is getting better? Also What does limited credit mean?
Yes the increase in your credit limit means that your credit is getting better.
Limited credit simply means the you either don't have enough trade lines or that the ones you do have, have been open long enough to have a good established payment history yet.
The increase will also help lower you debt to credit ratio which makes up a full 30% of your score.
Keep up the good work, never use more then 30% fo your credit line in any given month and pay it off in full before the due date and your score will skyrocket in no time.
You also need to think about getting a second card like a Visa or Mastercard and use them the same way.

I got into a car accident in 2003, and I had a MRI done. The place were I got the MRI done at knows that my case is still pending, so they'll get paid when my case settle. Unstead they sent my bill to the collection agency and now it shows on my credit report that i have a bill at the collection agency. it's really messing up my credit. I got my lawyer to get the MRI place to pull the bill out of collection but it's still on my report.. who do i talk to do delete that out of my credit report???
Dispute it with the CRA's. Since the MRI place recalled it from the collectors, the collector cannot legally verify the account. And since they cannot legally verify the account it should be removed by the CRA's.
Use paid reports from each CRA to dispute from. Don't use the free reports. The CRA's only have 30 days to complete their investigation when using a paid report, they have 45 days to complete their investigation when a FACT-ACT report is used to dispute from.

I have an iTunes account, and to verify it I bought an iTunes gift card. I don't have a credit card. I tried to buy an app for my iPhone. It's $4.99, and my gift card balance is $15.00. When I click 'Buy App' a window pops up and says that my credit card will be billed for the sale. Then after I log in, it takes me to the billing page and asks for my credit card info. I clicked 'none' for credit cards, then tried to redeem the iTunes card. But because I'd already used the card to verify my account, I couldn't re-enter the code on it. So is there anyway I can buy and download this app without it asking for credit card info? I don't have a credit card. I bought the iTunes card just to buy some apps. Did I waste my money?

Anyone who says that they can delete information from a credit report is a scammer - it can't be done. Only legitimate incorrect information can be removed from a credit report.
