I want to use a wordpress blog and theme and then add a shopping cart plugin to it to make a website. As long as its still a blog hosted by wordpress I think I can leave wordpress in the domain. Can anyone tell me if this is safe or legal to do?

I've heard alot about SSL and I'm wondering if its just for site who accept credit cards. I plan to connect the blog to an email address so that anyone locally can order custom designed items from me that way. They can download a form and mail or email it to me and pay with a money order or cash since I'm only catering to a small local area and not state or nationwide.
Do I still need a SSL then or can i just keep things the way it is?

I recommend you get a SSL Certificate, otherwise customers will be hesitant to buy from you. I use the HostGator.com business hosting plan which comes with a SSL certificate. As far as using wordpress hosting, I think you should buy a domain and host it yourself. Then just upload the shopperpress theme. I used it for e-commerce and it works great. It cost money though.

Has anyone had recent credit card fraud with their Capital One credit cards? It happened to me over the weekend. Someone was in Thailand swiping a credit card with my name and credit card number at atms. Since my credit card is low a lot of charges were declined. Capital One informed me that the charges totaled over $2000.00.
What really concerns me is that it was at atms so somehow whoever it was got my pin number.
Has this happened to anyone recently? Capital One called me and informed me of the fraud and closed my account.
How much of an investigation does a credit card company do when it comes to fraud in another country? Do they really investigate or just remove the charges?

Somebody called into Capital One last September, and had the billing address on my Visa Signature card changed.
When I called to get the address corrected, and to get a new card issued, the representative suggested I put a telephone password on my account so it won’t happen again.
I would advise you to also add a telephone password.
Also make sure that your account information is correct, and that your statements are not being diverted.
That said, I’ve had plenty of fraudulent activity over numerous credit cards, and the credit card companies always removed the fraudulent charges.
I don’t think much effort is put into criminal investigations, but I’ve never had $2,000 in fraudulent activity.
Capital One *IS* very good about picking up activity outside the U.S.
Whenever I leave the country, I call in beforehand to make sure they don’t shut down the card due to overseas charges.

I bought $50 worth of movies off of iTunes for my iPad. After buying them I got on a plane and found they had not entirely downloaded (that's my assumption, at least). When I turned it back on and went into the iTunes app, the videos all had bars beneath them that said "processing", and the bars were barely filled even a little bit.
How to I get these to download entirely? I wouldn't care, but iTunes already charged my credit card for them, and therefore I'd like a reimbursement ("all sales are final") or I'd like my dang movies.
